Personalized Halloween Gifts
SnapFig makes personalized Halloween gifts: hand finished figurines and keychains built from one photo you already have on your phone. Six looks cover a child, an adult, a cat or a dog. Every order goes through a digital preview that you approve before crafting starts, so nothing is made until you have seen it. Prices start at $69.
Which look suits which person
The six looks are not six versions of the same thing. Each one was built around a different kind of person, so start here rather than with the price.
- For a toddler, or anyone not ready for anything frightening: the ghost looks. A sheet ghost is the one costume a three year old will actually wear, and every face on that page is smiling.
- For a child who does not want to be scary at all: the mushroom, bee and ladybug looks. Nothing on that page belongs to Halloween, which is also why it still looks right in April.
- For the classic Halloween photo: the pumpkin looks. The carved pumpkin body is what most people picture when they picture a child at Halloween.
- For a child who would rather cast a spell than scare anyone: the witch and wizard looks, including two designed around a dog.
- For an adult, or for a couple: the gothic looks. These are built on adult proportions, and two of them are designed as a matching pair.
- For the person who makes everyone laugh: the skeleton and mummy looks. One bare bone leg beside an ordinary one is a joke, not a fright.
- For a cat or a dog: every one of the six pages includes at least one look built around an animal's body, with the face, ears and tail left clear.
Order by October 6 for Halloween
Crafting takes 7 to 10 days from the moment you approve your preview, and standard shipping takes 7 to 10 business days after that. Approve your preview by October 6 and it arrives in time. After that date, plan on it being a November keepsake rather than an October one, which for most of these looks is not a problem.
How it works
Send one clear, front facing photo. Phone photos are fine. Pick a look and a size. Our artists build that face onto the figure and send you a digital preview. If something is not right, reply and they will change it, free, before anything is crafted. Only once you approve does production begin.
Nobody has to own a costume, buy anything, or pose for a photoshoot. The photo you already have is enough.
What you receive
Premium full colour resin with real weight in the hand. The colour is cured into the material rather than painted on the surface, so it will not chip along the raised edges the way a painted figure does. Three sizes: 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm, roughly 2.4 to 3.9 inches. Every display figure stands on a clear acrylic base.
Each look also comes as a keychain at the same price as the display figure. Choose the figure for a desk or a shelf, the keychain for a school bag or a set of keys.
Why prices vary within a page
Prices run from $69 to $379 depending on the look and the size. Within any one page, three of the six looks start at $69 and the rest cost more, because the amount of hand finishing differs: wings, props, lanterns and bone work all take longer than a printed pattern. The size you choose then sets the final price.
What these are not
These are not costumes you can wear. Nothing on these pages is clothing. They are small resin figures and keychains with a specific person's face on them, made one at a time.
They are also not seasonal decorations. A pumpkin bought from a shop comes down on November 1. A figure with your child's face under the hood is a record of how small they were this year, which is why most people leave them out and add one the following October.
Common questions
Do I need a photo of them already in costume? No. Send one clear photo of the face and pick any look on any of the six pages. The costume is part of the figure.
Can you do pets? Yes. Cats and dogs both work, from one clear photo of the face. Several looks are designed around an animal's body rather than adapted from a human pose.
Can I change the outfit? The look you pick is what we build by default. When your preview arrives, if you want it adjusted, reply and our artists will change it before crafting begins.
What if it arrives damaged? We replace it free of charge. Photos and order details can also be updated free within 12 hours of ordering. Because each figure is built for one specific face, orders cannot be cancelled once crafting begins.
