The procurement lead has eleven tabs open, every one of them titled some version of "best corporate gift companies." Each list has a different winner. Scroll to the bottom of most of them and the winner turns out to be the company that wrote the list.
So, plainly: this list was written by a supplier too, and yes, we put ourselves first. That is because we can describe what SnapFig makes in more detail than anyone else can, not because we fit every job. Then we cover the other kinds of corporate gift companies, what each one is good at, and the questions worth asking all of them, us included.
🧭 Start With the Job, Not the Catalog
The best corporate gift company is the one built for the job in front of you. Three questions decide it: who is receiving the gift, how many people in how many places, and what you want them to remember. A company that is excellent at shipping 2,000 snack boxes is rarely the right partner for honoring a retiring CFO, and the reverse is just as true.
| What you need | Type of company | Examples | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recognition that is about the person | Made-from-a-photo keepsakes | SnapFig | Needs a photo of everyone, made to order |
| Hundreds of recipients, recipient choice | Gifting platforms | Sendoso, Loop & Tie, Snappy | How personal the options feel |
| Logo visibility at events | Branded merchandise | 4imprint | Logo-heavy items read as advertising |
| A safe, universally liked thank you | Gourmet baskets | Harry & David | Consumed rather than kept |
| Prestige from a famous name | Luxury houses | Tiffany & Co. | Chosen from a set collection |
If the recipients work somewhere else (clients, partners, speakers), check their rules first: a Society for Human Resource Management article notes that many companies limit or forbid outside gifts to employees. Know the ceiling before you pick the supplier.
🎨 SnapFig: Gifts Made From Each Recipient's Photo
SnapFig makes handcrafted portrait figurines from a single photo of each recipient. Every piece is sculpted, hand-finished and quality checked in premium resin with a full-color cured finish, so the gift is not a product with a name on it. It is a small likeness of the person receiving it.
That changes what a corporate gift can do. A catalog item says the company remembered the holidays. A small, solid likeness of the recipient, wearing the blazer from their conference keynote or holding the trophy from the regional sales award, says the company remembered them.
Picture the retirement dinner: the box opens, someone reads the engraved nameplate aloud, and the room recognizes the person on the pedestal before anyone says a word. The weight of solid resin in their hands does the rest, and whoever chose the gift never has to explain why.
What to order
Three products cover most corporate moments, chosen by the moment rather than the budget line.
- For recognition and the top tier: the custom personalized bust is a realistic half-length portrait on a tiered pedestal, and it is the most detailed tier SnapFig makes. The nameplate on the front can be engraved with a name, a title or a year, which turns the gift into an award. It suits board members, retiring leaders, top clients and keynote speakers.
- For teams and milestones: the custom figurine from any photo is a stylized full figure, with an oversized head, expressive eyes and the outfit and props from the photo. It works for work anniversaries, onboarding cohorts and team thank yous, and two people can share one base.
- For hybrid and remote teams: the same handcrafted figure also comes as a keychain from the personalized keychain collection, at the same price as the figurine. People without a permanent desk can still carry it every day.
Every recipient gets their own likeness from their own photo. That is the default, because it is the whole point. When one shared design is the right call, such as a company mascot or an event character, SnapFig can also produce a single design in quantity.

How a bulk order runs
- Send the list. Share your recipients and one clear photo per person with your dedicated account manager through the wholesale inquiry page or at business@snapfigures.com.
- Approve every likeness. Each portrait comes back as a digital preview. You request changes until it is right, and nothing is crafted before you approve.
- Production and quality check. Approved pieces are crafted, hand-finished and checked one by one, with engraving where it applies.
- Delivery. Pieces ship directly to each recipient, including overseas, or to your office for hand delivery.
A few details tend to matter to procurement and legal before anything else:
- Minimum order and pricing. Bulk orders start at 50 pieces, with volume pricing of 10% off from 50, 15% from 100 and 20% from 200 or more. If your list is under 50, order through the main store instead.
- Branding. Your logo goes on the base or the packaging, not across the gift. Orders of 100 or more can ship in a branded gift box, and 200 or more can go fully white label.
- Payment. Formal invoices, purchase orders and bank transfer are supported, with full payment up front, because each piece goes into production as soon as its preview is approved.
- Shipping and duties. The quote already includes shipping and import duties, so international recipients never receive a customs bill with your thank you.
- Privacy. Photos are used only to make the pieces and are deleted once production is complete.
- Damage. If anything arrives damaged in transit, SnapFig remakes it free of charge.
- Timeline. Your account manager confirms the exact timeline in your quote within 24 hours of your inquiry, so you plan around a confirmed date rather than a guess.

Where SnapFig is the wrong choice
Being honest about this is part of the recommendation. SnapFig is not the right company if you need a gift next week, because every piece is made to order and the timeline is set in your quote rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf. It does not make food, drinks or logo merchandise.
It also needs a clear photo of every recipient, so if you cannot collect photos, a platform where people choose their own gift will be easier. If the per-person budget is closer to a coffee card than a keepsake, a gourmet or merchandise supplier will stretch further. And bulk pricing starts at 50 pieces, so a list of twenty is better served through the main store.
If the gift should be about the person, start here. If it should be about choice, scale or a famous name, read on.
🖱️ Gifting Platforms: Sendoso, Loop & Tie, Snappy
Gifting platforms are software first. Sendoso describes itself as a gifting and direct mail platform, Snappy as a corporate gifting platform built to send gifts at scale, and Loop & Tie's tagline says it plainly: the recipient picks their own gift from a curated collection. All three offer integrations with business systems, and Loop & Tie and Snappy list HR platforms among them.
They also handle something SnapFig cannot: you need no photo of anyone, and the recipient does the choosing. Choose a platform when the list runs into the hundreds or when you want each recipient to choose. The trade-off is that the recipient chooses from what the platform offers, rather than receiving something made for them.
🏷️ Branded Merchandise: 4imprint
4imprint sells promotional products, with more than 30,000 items that can carry your logo. It is the right call for event giveaways, onboarding kits and anything meant to put your brand in front of as many people as possible.
The catch is that the logo is the message. That works for a booth giveaway and works against you when the goal is thanking someone. We made the case for keeping those two budgets separate in our guide to conference gifts for speakers and VIPs.
🧺 Gourmet and Luxury: Harry & David, Tiffany & Co.
Harry & David is a gourmet gift basket company with a dedicated business gifts section. Food is the safest thank you there is: nearly everyone enjoys it and nobody has to find a shelf for it. It is also eaten, not kept.
Tiffany & Co. offers business gifts from its own collection, from crystal barware to sterling silver pens, and can add a company logo or engrave select designs with the recipient's name, title or a date.
The name carries real prestige, and a blue box needs no explanation at the table. If the recipient values the brand as much as the gesture, this is the safer choice. We looked at the other side of that trade in what actually makes a corporate gift luxury.
✅ 8 Questions to Ask Any Corporate Gift Company
Whichever type of company you choose, ask these before you sign off. The answers separate a supplier you can hand a list of sixty names from one you will be chasing in December.
✅ Ask Every Supplier, Including Us
- What is the minimum order for each item, and does it change with customization?
- Can we see a proof or preview before production starts?
- Can you ship to each recipient, and who collects the addresses?
- Are shipping and import duties included in the quote for international recipients?
- Do you accept purchase orders and issue formal invoices, and what are the payment terms?
- What happens to recipient data, including photos, after the order?
- What happens if something arrives damaged or wrong?
- Will you confirm the delivery timeline in the quote, rather than give an estimate?
Our own answers are in the procurement details above. For a made-from-a-photo gift, the question that matters most is the second one, because approving every preview before production is what keeps a wrong likeness from reaching a recipient.
One more question belongs to your finance team rather than the supplier. For gifts to clients and other business contacts, IRS Publication 463 says you can deduct no more than $25 for business gifts to each person in a tax year. That is a cap on the deduction, not on the budget, and our client gifts buyer's guide explains how it plays out for custom gifts.

Back to those eleven tabs. Most of them were trying to name one winner for every job, and there isn't one. Decide what the gift is for, pick the type of company built for that, and put the eight questions to whoever makes the shortlist.
- Every recipient gets a portrait sculpted from their own photo
- Digital preview approval for each piece before production begins
- Shipping and import duties included, with direct delivery to each recipient
- Formal invoices and purchase orders supported, bulk orders from 50 units
- Photos deleted after production; free remake if anything arrives damaged
Send your list and one photo per recipient. Your account manager replies with a quote and a confirmed timeline within 24 hours.
