SnapFig Shipping Protection & Package Insurance
1. Overview
SnapFig offers optional Shipping Protection as an added service to safeguard your order during transit. This policy covers international shipments against damage, loss, or theft from the point of dispatch until delivery is confirmed. By selecting Shipping Protection at checkout, you ensure that eligible claims will result in a free replacement of your item(s).
2. Coverage Details
This protection applies when:
- Your package is marked as “delivered” but has not been received (lost).
- Your package arrives with visible physical damage that affects the product’s usability.
- Your package is confirmed stolen after delivery, with evidence provided.
3. How to File a Claim
If your order is lost, damaged, or stolen:
- Contact our support team at support@snapfigures.com within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.
- Provide your order number and clear details of the issue.
- For damage or theft: include photographic evidence and/or a police report if applicable.
- For lost packages: allow up to 15 business days after the expected delivery date before reporting.
Once your claim is verified, SnapFig will initiate a free re-production and re-shipment of your item(s). No additional charges will apply.
4. What is Not Covered
This policy does not cover:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer.
- Non-physical issues (e.g., color variations inherent to the 3D printing process).
- Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the structure or function of the product.
- Packages held or delayed by customs.
- Claims filed after 30 days from the delivery date.
5. Important Notes
- Shipping Protection is an optional, non-refundable fee added at checkout.
- This policy is administered by SnapFig and is separate from carrier insurance.
- Only one replacement is offered per order under this protection.
- SnapFig reserves the right to request additional information to validate a claim.
